"Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about."
- Winston Churchill
I am a textile, mixed media artist that manipulates fibers using color and texture that reflect my Icelandic heritage, weather-beaten Northern Arctic wilderness mixed with the bright colors of tropical living in the sunny state of Florida.

I let my artwork evolve freely, without restrictions armed with lifetime of embroidery, knitting and crocheting techniques while exploring new beginnings, cycle of life, and connections. I believe all life is connected and nature is what holds us together. Without nature, we don’t have US. Without US, we don’t have an I.

I feel working in the contemporary fiber and mixed media world gives me the freedom to express my love of texture, clean lines and order. Decluttering and simplifying my mind allows me to live in the moment, giving me the power to leave a positive mark.

Creating is therapeutical and powerful.

Bringing joy and a smile to others gives me tremendous pleasure.
